SUMMARY:EurasiaCat Workshop on common energy & environmental issues Europe-Asia
DESCRIPTION:Sala 3.01\, 3ª planta de Link. \nDuring the last 5 years Málaga University has established several collaborations with Asiatic Universities for solving energetic and environmental problems. \nIn the context of the Erasmus Mundus Eurasiacat project\, coordinated by Málaga University\, a solid and long-term network was established between several European and Asiatic groups\, from Hong Kong\, Taipei\, Macao and Singapore. In the context of this project\, more than 60 staffs and students could perform a mobility in another continent\, and in this context many collaborative studies have been performed in the field of advanced materials and chemical processes with interest in environmental protection and for solving energetic issues. Malaga University has also active Erasmus + KA 107 projects with Mongolia and Korea\, also in the context of implementation of mobilities for performing studies in the field of sustainability and environmental issues. \nThe objective of the present workshop is to bring together the key persons\, in Europe and Asia\, that have been involved in these projects\, evaluate the achievements made to date\, and evaluate the ideas that will arise about how to continue and increase these collaborations. \nTentative schedule \nJune 17 Environmental problems that must be faced in Asia and Europe will be welcome.
